Friday 12 Mar 22 Fan Clutch

12 Mar 21

I woke at 7 and let the dogs out for their morning potty break and put water on for coffee. I drank the first cup of coffee outside just enjoying the beautiful sunny morning. I poured the second cup into my french press mug for the road.

After securing everything inside and out I drove the short distance to where Larry was parked. He started walking towards me and we met about halfway. I got the sense that he didn't want me close to his truck. It was in terrible shape. I attempted to give him some money but he refused, referencing some scripture. We said our goodbyes and I got back in the RT and drove away. I wish the best for Larry.

Within a couple of days I directly and indirectly uncounted two men with opposite beliefs. Edward Knight spent most of his life telling anyone that would listen or see through his art that he believed it is very easy to find salvation. Just believe that God Loves you and ask God to forgive you for your sins. Larry believes that the path to salvation is very narrow. That all those that believe in celebrating the Sabbath on Sunday are wrong. That through years of wandering around the deserts of California studying the original Hebrew and Greek scriptures that he has learned the truth. That one must celebrate the Sabbath on Saturday and that one must observe the feast of unleavened bread.

According to Larry he actually met Edward at some point.

It is my opinion that both men lived very, very sad lives. I think they both suffer(ed) from some mental issues. I think that ultimately Edward had it right. God Loves You and He wants you to be with Him throughout Eternity. It is Simple, Believe that God sent His Son Jesus as a Sacrifice for your sins and ask for forgiveness of those sins.

After leaving Larry I drove North to Bombay Beach. A very, very strange place. I had considered driving all the way around the Salton Sea but after seeing how dilapidated Bombay Beach was I decided to just go back south and take I-8 to San Diego.

On the way I happened to notice the temperature guage was above normal while I was stopped at a traffic light. Once I was moving it went back down to normal. I decided that I would have to change the fan clutch before I got into the stop-and-go traffic in San Diego. When I got to El Centro I stopped at a Walmart and made breakfast of oats, toast and grapefruit.

After breakfast I drove to AutoZone to get the fan clutch. They didn't have the correct one but I was able to find one at a Bill O'Reilly's close by. I was able to swap it out from underneath the engine without much trouble.

Later I watched a video on Sex Trafficking which is so common in the world today. Sexdrive is such a powerful force of nature. Since Adam and Eve it has caused so much pain and misery in human society. From the most pleasurable thing a man and woman can ever experience together to the perversion it has become in today's world. People exploited, mostly women for the pleasure and financial benefit of others, with no regard for those whose lives will be scarred forever.

After the video I drove back to the Walmart. After feeding the dogs and giving Pete his insulin shot I got in bed and called it a day.
